First Doc Visit

Unfortunately we found out some sad news today. They did another ultrasound and well baby stopped growing,no heartbeat present. We went over with Doc and finalized the best thing is for a D&C. Jeremy and I are in shock and well sad but I have my faith in God and trying to stay strong and think God does things for a reason. We were just really excited for the little one especially since we got to hear and see the heartbeat just about 2 weeks ago. We're in no rush to trying again we will just let nature takes it's course. For now all we can do is be positive and prepare for the D&C this Tues. Some of you may say we should of waited to share our news for this same reason but just like there's real no time when to be pregnant when you find out you are for the first time you just want to share the happiness with the people that are close to us, so for that reason I'm very open to share our news. The world doesn't stop and we shouldn't be angry but instead accepting life as it is....

2+1= 3

I began feeling some abdominal cramping but at the same time something told me to take a pregnancy test so i did. I went ahead and did a dual test to confirm. OMG, we're pregnant! We went to memorial prompt care to confirm as well to see why i was having the cramping and well they confirmed i was pregnant and usually cramping is normal due to the uterus expanding. I wanted to wait till the 12th week to share my news but my husband just can't keep a secret and has shared our news, so I wanted to share the news so no one feels left out because we didn't tell them. We are about 7 weeks and well still at that critical stage. We have our first appt. March 3rd with OB.
I actually went to hoag's ER last Monday due to my horrible cramping and well they found I had a UTI. Jeremy got to see our little one as they did an ultrasound and it seems to be in the correct place and well with a good heartbeat so we'll just have to wait till our appt. with ob. For now they said to rest, take tynelol if cramping cont. and as long as I'm not bleeding things are ok. Wow this is one heck of experience but very excited. I think grandma Chuy probably had something to do with it. God bless her.

A New Year "2010"

It's been a while but been really busy. Mom and brother moved into a new place right around the corner from us. She's finally settled into her new cozy place. They both like it. Nothing like having mom's traditional dinners once in a while. So tasty. I could say Jeremy and I are pretty spolied.
Grandma passed away on Christmas Day. It was hard letting her go but she's now in a better place. She was one of a kind. She was really happy to see me get married and know I married a wonderful husband. R.I.P abuelita chuy.
I finally got back to working. I'm currently working for a Neurolist in Newport Beach. I have to say I really love going to work everyday. I also get to learn about new things everyday and as Dr. Montano says "you sure get a free consultation when u have a migraine" yeahp when it comes to having a migraine no need to go out and see my neurologist lol!
Jeremy is doing good as well thankfully he's been ok with his job which keeps him pretty busy. So usually we just take our time alone cuddling on the couch staying in and watching movies...

First time in San Francisco

Jeremy thought it would be a good idea to celebrate Valentine's a little early and go to San Francisco since I 've never been there. So we took off for the weekend. We were lucky enough that there was a break in the weather and have a little bit of sunshine. You name it we pretty much went to every spot in San Francisco: Fisherman's wharf, had the best clam chowder @ Cafe Eight, saw and drove down Lombard Street, had dinner at this yummy italian place called Cafe Zoetrope and even did a little wine tasting there, took a little stroll thru the Japanese Tea Garden, drove and walked on the Golden Gate Bridge, checked out Haight Ashbury which was lots of fun and had lunch at CHA CHA CHA which let me say great atmosphere/delicious food, saw the palace of fine arts, saw Alcatraz from pier 39, got to take part in the chinese new year celebration down Chinatown and much more. I have to say I enjoyed my trip to SF. It was a good early Valentine's weekend.
